World Health Organization Initiative to Endorse Use of Traditional Medicine

This video was a recent video presented at the World Health Organization’s G20 Summit in India. This is a foreshadowing of how the world is moving toward more acceptance of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other indigenous medical disciplines. The new ICD-11 diagnositic code book which is used universally by all third party payers in health care now has adopted the language of TCM and assigned specific codes to them. The United States is still using the ICD-10 code book at this time, but it is great to hear that the rest of the world has assigned value to what Acupuncturists do.
